Lately I'm very tempted to hook all FIVE of them together with binding wire wrapped up good and tight and sling the damned things to the bottom of a frigid lake where they %@$#*&% belong!!! And if I had a Mac it'd be right there with 'em!!!

How do you hook up all of your home computers?
by MsMcDucket ini would like to make it so that i can log on to any computer in the house from my computer.
i've got my wireless system hooked up; so everyone can use the linksys.
i, also, have them with the regular wires (usb ports).

Now then, I feel bad for the kid. The real problem that judges, doctors and others "outside" do not seem to realize is that these poor victims are not given unbiased information with which to make an informed decision to start with! Believers are coerced into a "faith" that is built upon distortions if not outright lies and then goaded and manipulated to uphold demonstrably phony "beliefs". So how can a judge or doctor reach an unbiased decision with that kind of slanted "testimony"?
Notice that the two jw callers had the same thought...the bible tells us to abstain from blood. No details, just that statement to back their belief. You might get the impression that they were just repeating a mantra. If you heard enough witnesses give that reply you could be sure of it!
Nothing here you people don't already know...I'm just seeing if I can still type. :) -

A witness give up their life for another witness? Hard to imagine what with all the red tape and all. I mean, first they'd have to confirm the soon to be victims organizational status and by the time they even begin that process....uh, too late. A generalization of course but predominately true.

it is an artcicle about a 14 year old witness boy with leukemia who died because of refusing a blood transfusion.
doctors said he would have had a 70 % chance of surviving to live a normal life if he had accepted blood.

There is a Breath of Life Ministries site that lists a Gail Bethea Jackson as a counselor. They are locatd in MD so chances are that she is the same person as in the video.
The WT tries hard but it's so easy nowadays to check up on them and prove what they really are. -

most disturbing movie scene you've seen?
by knock knock ini haven't seen this topic on here so i thought i'd.... hmmm, maybe it's because it's just too disturbing?
to me, the scene in saving private ryan - the two soldiers in the small upstairs room fighting hand to hand to the death (by stabbing).
i think that is the most disturbing thing i've seen on screen and there were plenty just in that film alone.

600murray, that was the scene I was referring to when I started this thing. While the scene was basically a violent struggle, it was not the "most gory" or "most violent" etc. but it still was quite disturbing.
My brother, who STILL hasn't signed up on here, says that The Photo Drama of Creation wins hands down. Again, I've never seen it so can't opine.
If nothing else comes from this thread, I've learned about some films to be sure to avoid. :)
Oh, and Tinker; dreaming about Herve...now that is disturbing enough to perhaps seek treatment! lol -

Megadude, I have seen very, very few of the islamic videos. Basically only what is shown on the news. I think it would be too much for me view. I used to watch old documentaries about WWII with my dad. He had gone through Buchenwald just after it was liberated and the things he described were horrific. Man, this has turned depressing. -
